BEING HERE

I started this project with a series called Dear Suburbia and continued to delve deeper into it through a workshop on Documentary Photography I took in October of 2023. As a result of this workshop, I began to include portraits of people who inhabit this place just like me. I am getting deeper and deeper into my relationship with this place.

With this project, I want to explore how we can talk about the place-person relationship, individual - community, belonging, and identity through photographic language.
